This was such a fun family session! It’s hard to believe it’s been so long since I’ve seen these guys. I last photographed Kelli + Remi’s wedding, and before that, Bella’s one-year-old pictures! She has grown so much since then and has SO MUCH personality! Family sessions can be a lot of fun in this way – the kids tend to be in charge of the session, no matter what you’d like to think! I LOVE this family! When I first started to identify I’d like to do more with this photography thing, I emailed several of my friends letting them know I’d like additional experience. Kim contacted me and my very first job was shooting Madison’s baptism. Since then, I’ve shot several of their family photo sessions and my husband and I are also great friends with Kim and Corey. Coincidentally, they also grew up in Michigan so we have a lot in common. This session was so much fun, I just don’t think the kids could get any cuter!

I am so lucky to be able to capture families as the kids grow! I took pictures of Juliette when she was a newborn, and I’m happy to say she’s just as sweet and adorable now as she was then! I took pictures of Ann Marie, Eddie, and Juliette in a fun family session last weekend in Irvine. The great thing about working with kids is they’re unpredictable. You might think that’s a downside, but in order to keep them engaged, you have to keep changing things around, which makes for really fun pictures! Thanks for a great session, guys!
