Nicole, Andy, and Seth

I’ve known Nicole for over 14 years now! We both went to Churchill High School, and we were both a part of their creative arts program, CAPA.  Nicole contacted me earlier this year saying she wished I was in town to take maternity pictures, and as it turned out, I was returning to Michigan at the end of August. Nicole is a photographer in her own right, so I was quite flattered to be contacted and thrilled to be taking her maternity pictures!

We shot at Mill Race Village in Northville, which Nicole picked out and was absolutely ideal for photographs! Lots of trees, buildings, and great backgrounds and light for photos. Why can’t I find a place like this in California?!?!

Nicole had asked me if I thought she might be too big for photos at 36 weeks – and I think the answer is a resounding NO! You look fabulous, Nicole! Thank you for allowing me to capture your family!

Nicole and Andy also brought along their adorable two-year-old, Seth. It was a collaborative effort to get Seth’s attention. Andy’s mother was also there to help out, which was a great idea! It’s almost as though Nicole has experience taking pictures of kids… ;)

I just love Seth’s expression here…very mischievous!
