Shooting newborns requires a lot of flexibility and patience. Sometimes you get a baby that will sleep through the entire session, and other times they’re a little more active. Such was the case with James! At 5 weeks old, he was a lot more interested in what was going on and gave us a lot of cute expressions. His wakefulness also afforded me the opportunity to get a lot more documentary images of the new family interacting, which I simply adore. Enjoy and congratulations, Amber + Jim!

You might THINK he’s crying here – but actually he was singing AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” to us! Kids these days, so advanced! ;)
