I never get bored shooting weddings – first of all, because I’m a huge romantic and it just GETS me seeing couples tie the knot! Secondly, each wedding and couple are different and bring different elements to their wedding day. Jesika + Geoff are such a couple – hugely sweet, romantic, and creative! They brought some unique Medieval-inspired details to their Chapel of Orange wedding that were a perfect complement to their interests and personalities. As always, I was honored to be there to document their special day!
Jesika started off the day with her mom and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at the Chapel of Orange.
It’s not a wedding day without a little bubbly! :)
Jesika + Geoff opted to have a first look prior to their ceremony. Doesn’t Geoff look handsome in his grey suit and yellow bowtie? I love this color combo!
I gotta say – one of my all-time favorite first looks with these two. Geoff was just SO excited! He couldn’t wait to see Jesika!
After the first look, we headed to the ceremony at the Chapel’s outdoor gazebo. The light was just beautiful during the ceremony!
Right after the ceremony we had some additional time for portraits. Jesika brought a beautiful sheer cape that just looked gorgeous in the light!
Is there a whole sub-genre of sad ring bearers and flowergirls? LOL! These two were so cute just sitting there, but they sure look bummed out! Love their flower crowns :)
Jesika + Geoff took a few minutes to practice their first dance – safe to say, they nailed it!
I don’t typically post many cake cutting shots, but they had for SURE the coolest cake-cutting I’ve ever witnessed! You read it here first – cake-cutting knives are out, battle axes are IN! :)
Congratulations, Jesika + Geoff!
