Kenya + Wasani’s Eagle Glen Golf Club wedding was absolutely gorgeous! It started with the people – both Kenya + Wasani are fun, kind people who were not surprisingly surrounded by fun, kind friends and family. Eagle Glen Golf Club was a beautiful setting for their day! It offered the convenience of having both their ceremony + reception at the same location, while offering some stunning golf course views!
Both Kenya + Wasani got ready on-site before meeting up for their first look!
Aren’t they just the sweetest together?
With a late September wedding, we had a 3:30 first look and the light was divine! I definitely recommend having a first look to any couple with a fall or winter wedding. With most standard ceremony times at around 5:00, this means most of the light of the day will be gone almost immediately after the ceremony. Fortunately these two opted for a first look and we got all this yummy light before it was time for their ceremony!
Kenya + Wasani had a massive bridal party! This was a very fun group :) I loved their colors! I’m all about blue suits for the guys, and these papaya dresses for the bridesmaids were a STUNNING contrast! Hello gorgeous!
I don’t know exactly what Wasani + the pastor were talking about here – but it must have been funny! :)
The most gorgeous backlight filtering through as Kenya and her dad walked down the aisle…
…and of course Wasani’s face as he saw her! <3
This was a funny moment! Kenya’s dad said, “I’m done!” as he walked away from the ceremony site after giving Kenya away. Big laughs from everyone :)
Married! These are always some of my favorite shots of the day :)
Things get a little crazy at the end of bridal party portraits! ;)
After family formals and a few more bridal party shots, we had just a few more minutes on the golf course with Kenya and Wasani.
The Eagle Glen Golf Club reception site was gorgeous! I loved the bright floral arrangements!
They had a gorgeous first dance together after the grand entrance…
…followed by dances with Wasani and his mom, and Kenya with her dad.
Toasts are one of my favorite parts of the day! I learn a lot about the bride and groom from those who know them best :)
The DJ kicked off the reception with “Wobble Baby” and the dance floor never cleared! I love when the dance floor is packed all night long!
At the end of the night, we stole Kenya + Wasani for a few minutes to get some nighttime shots. I love to do this during the reception to add some variety to the wedding photos! Love how this turned out!
Congratulations, Kenya + Wasani, and thank you for having me as part of your day!
